2009 is the year that really gives life to the old saying- Survival of the fittest, elimination of the unfit. The hotels with bad management strategies were rooted out and went bankrupt. Restaurants which depended on the quantity of food rather than quality closed down in the last quarter of last year. Art galleries who do not care much of the quality of items that they display and the creativity of the artists that they sponsor also went bust last year. I have been playing Magic the Gathering for about five years. So imagine my great joy when I qualified for the World Tournament to be held in Italy! The best part of it all was that I got to go with four of my closest friends who wanted to come along to support me and of course, see Italy and meet other players from all over the globe. We decided to get a jet charter flight since we didn’t really relish the thought of cramped leg space and not to mention the lousy food. The flight was great! We got to relax and talk and joke around to our heart’s content, not to mention getting a couple of rounds of magic in just for practice.
